Statutory Warranty – Your Rights Explained Simply

When you purchase a PURELEI jewelry piece, you are of course protected.

Updated over a week ago

If your PURELEI jewelry shows defects within 2 years from the date of purchase that are due to material or manufacturing errors, you are entitled to statutory warranty rights. This means that during this period we take responsibility for such defects and will provide an appropriate solution.

What is a warranty?

The statutory warranty is your right as a buyer. It automatically applies from the date of purchase and protects you if a product was not flawless from the start or suddenly develops a defect through no fault of your own.

When does the warranty apply?

The warranty applies if a defect is caused by an error in the material or in the manufacturing process. In such cases, we will take care of it quickly and easily.

When does it not apply?

Certain types of damage are not covered by the statutory warranty, for example:

  • Damage caused by improper use, dropping, or impact

  • Issues caused by repairs or modifications you made yourself

  • Normal wear and tear, such as scratches on the surface

  • Water damage to watches

  • Dirt or contamination on the jewelry

  • Natural variations in natural materials (e.g., pearls or shells)

How can you make a warranty claim?

Please provide:

  • Your order number

  • One or more clear photos of the jewelry piece

  • A short description of what exactly happened

To help us assess the defect as quickly as possible, please make sure that your photos:

  • show the entire jewelry piece

  • clearly show the defect (close-up)

  • are sharp and well lit

In some cases, a short video can also be helpful, for example if a clasp no longer closes properly or if a moving part is not functioning correctly.

The more clearly we can identify the defect, the faster we can review your claim and offer you an appropriate solution. 💛
