Stainless steel jewelry
Most of our collection is made from stainless steel (316L). This material is nickel-free*, skin-friendly, and well tolerated by most people, even those with sensitive skin.
Gold-plated variants
Jewelry with gold or rose gold plating is also based on stainless steel and is generally well tolerated by the skin. However, as with all plated jewelry, very sensitive skin may react individually in some cases.
Silver & natural materials
Some of our designs, such as those made from 925 sterling silver or with natural materials like pearls or shells, are also skin-friendly because they do not contain allergenic metals. Nevertheless, every skin reacts differently.
Tip for sensitive skin
If your skin reacts particularly sensitively to jewelry, it may help to:
rinse the jewelry with mild soapy water before wearing it for the first time
avoid contact with perfume, creams, or sweat immediately after putting it on
temporarily choose another material option if irritation occurs

However, minimal traces of nickel cannot be completely excluded due to the nature of the materials.
